osCommerce Design

I use osCommerce for e-commerce and content management sites. osCommerce is an extremely flexible and powerful plug-in shopping cart catalog, and administration machine all rolled into one. It is open source--and therefore is available for private or commercial use free of charge under the GNU Public Licence, is widely used and supported, and is part of an extremely large online community. It consists of a catalogue front-end, which can be used in conjunction with your existing site, or as a stand-alone site in its own right. From straight out-of-the-box it looks like a less than exciting gray store-front, but with customization osCommerce can be used to design professional looking web sites with an easy to use administrative back-end interface.

Exclusive Dreamweaver Templates Creation

I design custom Dreamweaver template sites. "Template" doesn't mean a design purchased elsewhere and used on multiple sites. I create the design exclusively for you. Once the first page is created it is used as a template to create the rest of the pages used throughout the site. If changes are made to the template all pages in the site are automatically updated. Designated areas on the pages are editable while the rest of the page is locked. If you use the Dreamweaver program you will be able to maintain the site content yourself without impacting the design elements.

	I will provide you with a no-obligation objective assessment of your site including a list of recommendations to improve navigation, search engine optimization, design and content.

	Domain Name Registration
	I would be pleased to walk you through the process of registering your domain and arranging for Hosting services. You will own the domain name. The domain will be registered in your name with your contact information.

	Web site Hosting
	Dandelion Web Design does not provide hosting services, however I recommend the hosting services of Host Excellence. I would be pleased to walk you through the signup process and to help you register your domain name.

	A logo is the foundation for your corporate identity and is a great place to start when designing a Web site. Here are some examples of logos I've designed.

	Business Card Layout
	I recommend VistaPrint to my clients. I create the layout of your business card and then you can login and view the layout and when you are pleased with it place your order online.

	While I offer no guarantee of top placement, there are some key factors that affect how search engines rank your site well for competitive key words. Given time you will see results.

	Copywriting and Editing
	Writing for the web is different from writing for the printed page. A challenge with web writing is that you aren't just writing for site visitors you are also writing your copy for search engines.
